Welcome to Raspberry Pi Made Easy!
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Raspberry Pi Made Easy website at https://buildfast.ca ("Website") and the course and digital products we offer, including the "Pi 5 Launchpad: Beginner → Builder" program (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Website or purchasing the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. What Raspberry Pi Made Easy Provides
Raspberry Pi Made Easy provides educational content to help you learn how to set up and use Raspberry Pi boards, including Raspberry Pi 5 and related accessories. This includes pre-recorded video lessons, written materials, wiring diagrams, troubleshooting flows, and other downloadable resources. We do not sell hardware; you are responsible for purchasing and maintaining your own Raspberry Pi and accessories.
2. Who May Use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to purchase or access the Course. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Payments, Access, and License
All course purchases are processed through third‑party payment providers such as Stripe. Prices and offers are listed on the Website at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, all sales are final and non‑refundable.
When you purchase the Course, you receive a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access the content for your own educational use. You may not share your login with others, resell, redistribute, or publicly post the course materials.
4. No Hardware, Safety, and Your Responsibility
Working with electronics involves risk. You are solely responsible for how you use your Raspberry Pi, power supplies, sensors, and other components. Always follow manufacturer documentation and basic electrical safety practices. Raspberry Pi Made Easy is not responsible for damage to devices, accessories, or other property, or for injury, that may result from how you apply the tutorials.
5. Educational Purpose and No Guarantees
All content is provided for educational purposes only. We do not provide professional engineering, legal, financial, or safety certifications. We do not promise specific results, outcomes, or performance; your progress depends on your effort, hardware, and environment.
6. User Accounts and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials used to access the Course. You agree not to attempt to interfere with the security or proper operation of the Website, not to reverse‑engineer or scrape the platform, and not to use the content to create a competing course based substantially on our material.
7. Intellectual Property
All videos, text, diagrams, branding, and other materials provided through the Services are owned by Raspberry Pi Made Easy or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license described in Section 3, no rights are transferred to you. Any unauthorized copying, distribution, or public display of the content is prohibited.
8. Third‑Party Links and Tools
The Course may reference or link to third‑party tools, libraries, APIs, or websites (for example, Raspberry Pi OS downloads, Git repositories, or documentation). These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party sites, their content, or their practices.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raspberry Pi Made Easy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, hardware, or profits arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the Course giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes to the Course and to These Terms
We may update, add, or remove lessons, projects, or bonuses from the Course over time in order to keep it accurate and useful. We may also update these Terms occasionally. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may notify you by email or through the Website. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
